Tim Stamps learned his craft from Rich Harbour before branching out on his own. Every board comes from the one before it. A curve pushed and pulled. A little more foam where it’s needed as the design dictates. A cleaner outline that holds speed and adds maneuverability just a little better. New models aren’t completely new. They’re built on proven designs and curves.

He still finish-shapes every board and uses computer technology to preserve what he’s already learned. Once a rocker line is right, it’s right. There’s no reason to reinvent the wheel. The computer doesn’t shape the board. It just helps keep things consistent.

Tim spends plenty of time in the water and listens closely to those riding his boards. Every session and every conversation is another opportunity to learn what worked, what he can refine, and what he’ll carry into the next one.

The dimensions listed on each model are a starting point, not a rule. Every rider is different, so width, thickness, and volume can all be adjusted within reason to fit the individual.
